CalCall Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AISmartSolution Co., Ltd. (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use the CalCall application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

- Account and Authentication: Apple ID or Google account identifiers (as provided via sign‑in), email address, and basic profile details you choose to provide.
- Profile and App Data: Age, height, weight, goals, preferences, reminders, and settings you provide.
- Content You Provide: Meal photos, meal logs, notes, and any text input (including chat messages with the nutrition assistant).
- Audio Notes: If you use voice logging, we may process audio recordings and their transcripts for meal extraction and nutrition analysis.
- Health Data (HealthKit): With your explicit permission, the App may read and write weight data via Apple HealthKit.
- Device and Usage: Device model, OS version, App version, language, time zone, in‑app events, and crash logs.
- Support and Communications: Messages and contact details when you reach out to support.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and improve the App and its AI nutrition features
- Analyze meals and generate nutrition insights and personalized guidance
- Sync and display your logs, history, and progress
- Send notifications and reminders (if enabled)
- Maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and debug issues
- Conduct analytics and product research using aggregated or de‑identified data
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
4. AI and Third‑Party Processing
To power meal recognition, nutrition extraction, and chat responses, we may send limited, relevant data (such as meal images and text prompts) to AI service providers and nutrition databases (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, USDA or similar sources). Where such controls are available, we configure providers to not use your data to train their models. We apply data‑minimization and redaction where feasible.
5. Health Data and Platform Policies
- Health data accessed via Apple HealthKit is used only to provide features you request and is never used for marketing or sold to third parties.
- We access HealthKit data only with your explicit consent, and you can revoke access at any time via system settings.
6. Legal Bases (EEA/UK)
- Contract necessity: To provide and improve the App and core features you request.
- Legitimate interests: Security, fraud prevention, analytics, and product improvement (balanced with your rights).
- Consent: HealthKit access, notifications, microphone/camera access, and certain AI processing where required.
- Legal obligations: Compliance with applicable laws and requests from competent authorities.
7. Sharing of Information
- Service providers: Cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, and AI providers acting on our behalf
- Legal and safety: To comply with law or protect rights, safety, and security
- Business transfers: In connection with mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales
- With your consent: When you ask us to share or enable integrations
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete personal data from active systems within 30 days. Backups may persist for a limited period per our standard retention schedule, after which they are purged.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the age of consent in your jurisdiction, e.g., 16 in parts of the EU/UK). If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us for deletion.
13. International Transfers
We may process and store information in countries outside your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect personal information during transfers.
14. Cookies and Analytics
The mobile App may use in‑app analytics SDKs to understand feature usage and improve performance. If you visit our website, cookies may be used as described in the site’s cookie notice (if applicable).
15. Your Choices
- Permissions: You can revoke camera, microphone, photo library, HealthKit, and notification permissions in system settings.
- Access and edits: Update or delete information in the App where available, or contact support.
- Account deletion: You can delete your account from Settings; associated data will be removed per Section 8.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in‑app notice or email. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
